I've learned that in making/keeping your life simple you find out what and who is real. It's not easy, and it will knock you on your ass. If it doesn't, you're not doing it right.

And so I sit here, wondering... why it is that people are as they are. Twice this week those I called friend have disappointed me. Nothing like being burned to open your eyes.
