The Toronto Sun is reporting that the 'commander' of the unit from the Spielberg/Hanks production Band of Brothers, Major Richard 'Dick' Winters, has passed, just short of his 93rd birthday.
And why am I posting this?
To me he seemed a good man. Certainly his men thought so.
And if this site is about anything, its about good people and what they do.
